We are delighted to welcome you to worship with us. If you are a visitor to St. Mary’s Church, we want you to know how welcome you are whether you have come from another part of the country, from across the world, or from another parish here in Sacramento.
As a family of believers, we celebrate the liturgy in a fitting and beautiful manner, and also, we are able to give spiritual, social and emotional support through a variety of services to the community.
Our parish is endowed with an effective music ministry which enables the faithful to have a profound God-experience during the Divine Liturgy. We hope your time with us is a meaningful and a spiritual experience.
Our parish had its centennial celebration (1906-2006) in the year 2006. We are indebted to all who worked hard and prayed ceaselessly for our parish. Our parish grew commendably with the collaborative efforts of several benefactors and volunteers. We continue helping people in the parish and those in the local community. As a faith community, we affirmed the blessings of the past and now we embrace the future spiritually invigorated from the many graces received.
You are welcome to visit the Blessed Sacrament in the Infant Mary Chapel which is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Jesus invites us: “Come to me, all you who are weary and find life burdensome, and I will refresh you. Take my yoke upon your shoulders and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart. Your souls will find rest, for my yoke is easy and my burden light” (Mt: 11:28-30). Let us pray to be safe and healthy under the mantle of our patroness Mother Mary. She will intercede for us.
