We are pleased to have you with us and to worship with us. If you are a visitor to St. Mary’s Church, we want you to know how welcome you are whether you have come from another part of the country, from across the world, or from another parish here in Sacramento.
Thanks, in part, to the generosity of visitors like you, we are able to celebrate the liturgy in a fitting and beautiful way, and also we are able to give spiritual and emotional support through a variety of services to the community.
St. Mary’s is endowed with an effective music ministry which enables the faithful to have a profound God-experience during the Divine Liturgy. We hope your time with us is a meaningful and spiritual experience.
After the centennial celebration (1906-2006) of our parish, we are living in an exciting time in our parish history. A vibrant parish life is best achieved through a collaborative effort of several ministries that help people in the parish and those in the local community. As a faith community, we affirmed the blessings of the past in the Jubilee year and now we embrace the future spiritually invigorated from the many graces received from our jubilee celebrations.
You are welcome to visit the Blessed Sacrament in the Infant Mary Chapel which is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Jesus invites us: “Come to me, all you who are weary and find life burdensome, and I will refresh you. Take my yoke upon your shoulders and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart. Your souls will find rest, for my yoke is easy and my burden light” (Mt: 11:28-30).
