Letter from Fr. Joseph

Date: June 22, 2020 - June 20, 2020
Time: 10:00am - 11:55pm

As you may have heard, Fr. Joseph will be departing for his new assignment this week. Please

Dear loving parishioners of St. Mary's,

How are you all?

I hope and wish that all of you be protected and supported by the Divine Providence always and especially during this terrible season of COVID PANDEMIC. My humble prayers for you and all your beloved ones for your wellbeing and for a happy and meaningful life.

I am writing this note in order to let you know how much I am grateful to you and how much I am going to miss you. I am going to be assigned in a parish in the diocese of Birmingham, Alabama. I am supposed to take the ministry as the pastor of St.Joseph’s Church Florence, Alabama on July 1st 2020. I am the only priest there and the pastor of the parish is retiring by the end of June 2020.

St. Joseph’s Parish in Florence, ALABAMA is the oldest parish in the city of Florence and it is a vibrant parish. It has a small Elementary school and active other ministries. The bishop spoke to me a few times and it seems that it is a very active and vibrant Catholic community.

I am leaving Sacramento this 26th June and I would like to tell you all how much I enjoyed my stay and ministry at St. Mary’s Sacramento. I appreciate your kindness towards me and your dedications to our Lord Jesus Christ and His Church.

I humbly request your valuable prayers for me in my future ministry and the remainder years of my life. This year I will be having the Golden jubilee of my religious profession and Ruby Jubilee of my priesthood. I will remember you with gratitude and you will be always in my prayers.

With Warm Regards and Humble Prayers,

Always in our good Lord,

Fr. Joseph Kuzhichalil CMI
