“Be still before the Lord” Psalm 37:7
Date: February 8, 2017 - February 8, 1917
Time: 9:00am - 11:00am
Contemplative prayer is a process of interior transformation, a conversation initiated by God leading to divine union. We have a group, practicing this form of prayer that meets every Wednesday morning in the Holy Spouses Room from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Centering Prayer begins at 10:00 a.m. following a brief reading from works written by Thomas Keating, a Cistercian monk and founder of the Centering Prayer Movement. We read the Gospel for the following Sunday, sing an Alleluia and pray petitions too.
